Walsin Technology Corporation was founded in Taiwan in 1992 and has been listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange since 2001. As a member of the Passive System Alliance, Walsin supplies passive components from a single source: multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), chip resistors and inductors for networking and data centre technology, automotive, industrial, power supplies, IoT and consumer electronics. Ten production centres in Asia, an R&D share that has remained at around three percent of sales since 2001 and an in-house test laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 form the basis for a broad, continuously developed portfolio. The plants are certified to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and QC 080000.
The MLCC range extends from 01005 to 2225 in the dielectrics NP0, X5R, X6S, X7R, X7S and X8G/X8R, with capacitances from 0.1 pF to 220 µF and rated voltages up to 4 kV – including soft-termination types, safety capacitors X1/Y2 and X2, high-temperature series up to 150 °C and AEC-Q200 qualified automotive series such as the VW 80808 compliant VT series. In chip resistors, Walsin covers the full spectrum from thick-film standard types (01005 to 2512) through precision thin-film, anti-sulfur, high-voltage and high-power types to current-sense resistors from 1 mΩ and resistor arrays – many of them also available as AEC-Q200 variants. The portfolio is complemented by ferrite chip beads, power inductors and RF chip inductors. As an authorised distributor, we offer technical support, sample supply and reliable availability from Schwabach for Walsin components.
